[SOLVED ENABLING REWRITE MODULE]:Wordpress subpage get 404

Post by dogsandwood »

[SOLVED]: As I think the rewrite module in Apache httpd.conf was disabled, I just uncommented it and restart servers and it work..

Hi all.. I've upgraded today to MAMP 7.0 from previous version. I've two WP local sites that I use for testing.

Setup with PHP 8.3.9 and MySQL 8.0.35 and ports 80 & 3306.

If the sites use permalinks like www.sitename/page gets 404 for all pages except the home page that is www.sitename, if I change permalinks to structure as: www.sitename/page_id=xxx all works fine..

With the previous version of MAMP all were ok..

The issue afflicts both the sites and also a fresh installation of a third site..

Did anyone ave an idea to fix..?

I think that probably there's some modules incative in Apache..

Thank You very much
