Hello, I am using MAMP V6.8 and macOS 14.7.

Unfortunately, multiple httpd processes are started as soon as I start MAMP. Is this normal? MySQL runs only once, but there are about 11 httpd processes running.

Yes. Typically at least one for each of your MAMP hosts. Make sure default macOS Apache isn't running -> See Make sure to stop MAMP Pro Apache before proceeding!
