Official MAMP support

Hello,
I raised a ticket this morning on the official MAMP support that you can find on the https://www.mamp.info/en/mamp-pro/support/ page. The ticket was related to the Apache mod_rewrite configuration, so something clearly technical.

After few hours I received an answer, telling that I had to contact the payment platform at http://paddle.com/support/contact/
This is really bizarre.

Do these guys provide any support at all?

Then why pay $$$ for MAMP Pro??

Apache is not maintained by any solution stack though. Many don't understand this getting into these products for the first time. There's a level of support with the OS they can help with and call out, but not always specifically with the Apache/MySQL/Redis/NGINX etc. products.
