Native M1 Apple Silicon support for mysql and httpd?

Post by bernd »

Hi!

Despite the M1 support of Mamp it still uses httpd and mysql made for Intel. Can that be changed? Because I can download native binaries with "brew". Can I just swap them somehow?

MAMP could and should use M1 binaries of httpd and mysql. I don't the reason why they choose not to.
