I found the answer.
Add "extension=php_fileinfo.dll to php.ini"

I installed MAMP on windows and then Joomla. In Joomla if I click on Media I get the following error:
Property 'mime_type' of argument 'item' of event onFetchMediaItems has a wrong item. Valid: string

Any help would be appreciated.
