Re: Let’s Encrypt certificate locations won’t save
I got it to work by making changes to the template file httpd-ssl.conf to point to the files in the live folder. Upon trying to start it failed with a config error. I commented out my changes and uncommented the original MAMP lines, restarted and it worked. Not sure what my changes and unchanged ...

Re: Let’s Encrypt certificate locations won’t save
Whats permissions you used? Please open one of the keys (Right click -> Get Info) and show me permissions. You will still have to give your mac user access to the private key if you are using (in archive folder where real keys reside). In my case, I use the alias' in live folder (i do not check the ...

Re: MAMP Pro v7 Release Announcement
After astonishingly poor messaging and responsiveness by the developers for over two years, MAMP Pro 7 is finally here, and it includes support for MySQL 8. I may be the only customer who hasn't yet defected, but I'm going to give the upgrade a try. If anyone else has already done so and has a ...

Http to Https redirects suddenly not working in .htaccess? macOS Apache Might Be Running
I use MAMP Pro for macOS. Recently, I noticed http to https redirects not working for majority of my sites (I have some sites behind Cloudflare that were working fine). My sites use an .htaccess for the http to https redirect. I had not modified the .htaccess files in years. My .htaccess redirect ...

Re: is MAMP dead?
I saw a dev note in the bug base the new version of Mamp will have MySQL and other fixes. The question is, when.
The upcoming MAMP PRO Version 7 will include MysQL Version 8 as well. It will allow you to choose between 5.7 or 8.x, but they won't be running simultaneously.
