I created a website in MAMP and some of the pages, especially ones that I put into folders, give me a 404 error. I've managed to reduce a php file to nothing but the most basic skeleton code inside and I still get a 404 error with it! I even created a file side by side it with a different name and the exact same code and it works perfectly fine. I'm stumped why this is happening.

Hi, check your permissions (called access rights in MAMP Pro) on the root directory. Which version of MAMP (windows or mac and version #) are you using? Also, check apache logs to see if it reveals anything else.
