I installed MAMP Pro on my MacBook Pro yesterday and set up a host. I created a database for that host and populated it by importing sql data from another database. All worked fine. I was able to run queries, etc.

Today, MAMP tells me MySQL is not accepting connections. Any ideas?

I am having this same issue! I'm running Mamp Pro version 4.5 on OSX Mojave. I have been running this configuration for years without issue, running multiple databases etc - but today I'm locked out. I'm getting the exact same issues that OP is reporting. It feels like it came out of nowhere!

Thanks so much!
